I'm getting 2 eggs a day... From one of my chickens and they aren't duds... It's confusing me... Unless one of the younger chickens are laying and I didn't know??! but.... they look much younger... They're getting older and to that point but you can still see they look like a pullet not a fully grown chicken yet... it's crazy one of the eggs were HUGE. and another one was smaller but it's tripping me out lol

It's possible for a hen to lay more than one egg a day if her body messes up and releases more than one yolk a day. Usually she skips the next day of she does this and the second egg especially can often be weird, either weird markings or really thin shelled.

If it is an everyday thing it is much more likely one of your pullets is laying. You don't mention how old they are, I've had pullets start laying as young as 16 weeks. Usually the eggs are pretty small but pullets just starting out sometimes lay double yolked eggs which can be pretty large.

honestly... you're right... one of them HAS to be laying... because this is the FOURTH egg I found.. This one was laid out in the open with a very brittle shell... I ended up stepping in it lol it broke when it hit the ground... but I can tell one of the "babies" has a bigger comb but she still looks so small... Maybe she'll just always be a baby to me :(((

Unless sunshine is just a laying machine...

in that case it's fine but I want her to be laying eggs properly lol

I find eggs in the floor some mornings, it usually passes,,

However I have a hen that is laying 2-3 eggs a day 5-6 days a week. She is a Delaware and is the only one I have that lays this color egg (my girls are EEs). The first is always good, the second may be thin shelled (if I let the oyster shell run out) and may also be lighter in color. The third is almost always at night, when it happens, lighter in color and thin shelled, floor is really soft and they are not breaking from the 8 foot drop. Some do break as they are very thin,,,
I think she has an issue with her reproductive system,,,

We have a hen that laid at dark. Is this normal?

Normal, not really. It should not happen. However, when they first start laying pullets often do not have full control of that complicated process. Many do and start laying as hey should but it sometime stakes a few days for them to work all the bugs out of that process. If she has been laying less than two weeks I would not be concerned. Longer than that I'd think something might be wrong with her internal egg making factory.
