As for the three eggs, my neighbor had a bantam Ameracauna and an Ameracauna that is a bit smaller than mine coming over to lay their eggs in my nest boxes. The bantam passed away, but the other one still comes over frequently. My neighbor is aware, but there’s no stopping her! Sometimes I get 10 eggs a day from my 9 hens! ‍
