Multiple hens

I have some banties where multiple hens are hatching eggs. Is it OK to put them into the same area after the eggs have hatched or will they fight to protect their little ones? I have only one little pen to isolate hens and chicks.

It all depends on the temperament of the hens and the size of the pen/coop. Most hens are defensive of their chicks and regard all others as intruders. Have a 'Plan B' in mind just in case.

2 - one has 2 chicks and the other has some eggs that will hatch soon. The hen with the 2 is already in the pen. The other is in a nesting box.

2' x 3' is kind of small, but it might be okay if both hens get along. I suggest trying it and watching them to make sure there aren't any problems.
