Right now, I have 2 different flocks; each with a bantam rooster. My original flock consists of 4 standard hens, 2 bantam hens, and the OEG bantam rooster. The second flock is all bantams (offspring of OEG roo and Jap. hen). There is one roo and two hens. The two flocks prefer to keep their distance, and the roosters never really fight. The worst I have seen is the mix breed roo chasing his dad across the yard. However, I now have 24 chicks I will be adding to the flock soon, with one Barred Rock roo. Is three roosters too many for 31 hens? I really don't want to have to get rid of them, but I am worried about fighting and over-breeding. Do you think this will be okay, or not?

Not Too Many With 31 Hens If You Want All Eggs Fertal You Need 3 Roos. Just Make Sure 2 Or Even All 3 Roos Dont Favor 2,3 Certain Hens They Will Fight But Bigger Is The Damage To The Hens
