I had wanted to start gray eggers, but I only have 2 hens. I
Wanted gray eggers and lucked out. I think where it came from was a dusky/purple/pink egg mixed with a dusky green egg rooster

I know!!!!, all 3 of my favorite Buttonquail chicks escaped together and diedand they were inside the house!
