Murray McMurray and Homesteader's Delight

Hello, I have ordered from Murray McMurray since 1992, but the last order was in 2009. Couple questions for people that have ordered from them recently.

1 I was always completely satisfied with the quality of chicks, minimal losses, and customer service.

Are they still the same? Are you still happy with the quality of their product and service?

2 Previously I ordered chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys separately, as I had the room, and
desire for many birds. Now I don't want as many initially; however, I am still looking for
variety.

Anyone care to comment on their Homesteader's Delight package? Quality and variety,
etc.

I haven't ordered that package but I was pleased with the chicks and customer service I got from MM.

Do you know what breeds you'll be getting or if they are sexed chicks?

I ordered from MM last summer, and was very satisfied with everything. I didn't get the Homesteader's Delight either, so I can't comment on that in particular.

Thanks for the response. I too have had good luck with MurMcMur in the past, but times change, so I was just wondering.

The package comes with 10 pullet brown egg layers - so I'm guessing probably just a Red Star type layer. From what I can find, may not get much variety. Also includes straight run duck pair, goose pair, and turkey pair. Seems like the Homesteader's Package is through MurMcMur, but hatched by someone else.

Thanks for the response. I've had good luck with MurMcMur years ago. Glad to here they haven't changed.
