So I'm wondering if this was just a fluke or if others have experienced the same with them...

I contacted their customer support via the form on their website and it took 21 days for them to respond!

I know some might say it's the holiday season but just the same that seems quite excessive...

I think I read somewhere that they close down for a little while during the holiday season. When I have contacted them via their web site I have always had a reply by the next day.

You are correct, it appears they close for an extended holiday season...
