Murray Mcmurray Hatchery has a crazy shipping fee!

I wanted to buy a single 4 week old Buff Laced Polish from Murray Mcmurray to join my flock of 6. It costs 25 bucks. Fine, but to ship it to us it costs 55 dollars? Wow! That is waaay pricey. I'm really desperate for this bird, but I don't feel like I can spend 80 dollars on it!

shipping is high that doesn't have anything to do with Murry McMurry, they need to ship expess and that is expensive

shipping costs $55 its not mcmurray just charging that price....they have to be shipped a certain way and that way is expensive since your wanting to get a 4 week old chick not day olds


maybe you could get some day olds and sell the ones you dont want if you dont wanna pay the $55

Tried that. 15 chicks (the minimum) + 25 dollars shipping = 80 dollars again! Thanks anyway.

Well, excpet for the fact that you can sell the extra 14 chicks for $5 or $6 each.

other place have buff polish that dont require the minimum of 15 chicks ordered....maybe you could check there? like Ideal only requires you spend a minimum of $25(so depedning on what you get could be maybe no more then 10 chicks) and depedning on where you live from them they dont charge shipping just a small(under 10 bucks) boxing fee

My pet chicken makes it so you can buy as little as one chick not sure about shipping though
