They have a few breeds available now. I was late also as I had relied on a local breeder to get me birds and when I contacted her about their readiness I was informed that she didn't have what I had ordered but had something else. I took those, which were unsexed Australorps at 8 weeks old , and then went to the McMurray site which only had straight runs and males left, this being in late May.
I ended up getting a straight run from another hatchery, again because all female orders were booked everywhere I looked for the heritage breeds I wanted. I will now have a bunch of roos to unload.
I have recently ordered sexed runs from McMurray which are due August 17th, but there were only a couple of the breeds I was interested in available.
I think if you order in the Fall, you should have a pretty good selection.
