Murray Mcmurray!

Hey! Would you mind posting a pic of your silver laced Wyandotte from mcmurray? Also would you post if you have an easter egger or a barred rock from there? Thanks so much!
Here's a picture of one of our 3 EEs from Murray McMurray that we purchased last spring, the other 2 look similar. I also attached a picture of the 1st eggs that they laid. At 37 weeks of age, they are producing a large sized (2 oz) egg.

Also here's a picture of the Buff Orpingtons and Black Stars that we purchased from Murray McMurray:

We bought just some laying hens from Murray Mcmurray last year. They lay fairly well, but not show birds. The hens are friendly, and most like to be cuddled. We did notice though,(after ordering) that the "Easter Eggers" are mutts. Overall, the make good laying hens, but poor show birds.Just don't order rosters from them!!! The roosters are crazy, and super aggressive with the hens. We had 2 that killed 3 hens because they were so aggressive.

I ordered 16 last year, one included a Cockerel EE. I like him well enough, and actually plan to breed him to my mom's Ameraucanas she bought last year. He's not aggressive at all, though He is only about 7 months old. Did yours show aggression later, or did it start right off the bat?

I can safely say that the hatchery doesn't always do well with sexing. I ordered two Golden Polish hens, and one turned out to be a cockerel. I also ordered three Columbian Wyandotte pullets. One is a cockerel, and he is a bit aggressive right now. He chases after my son, and picks on my Mottled Houdan cockerel. The speckled Sussex were okay, but I gave them to a friend. They were both pullets, and pretty sweet. The Mottled Houdans are dolls! Very sweet, follow me around the yard, and love to cuddle.

This is my first time getting chickens and i don't know to much about how they exactly suppose to look like. I order in january from McMurray 6 chickens (1 month old chicks). I received them a month ago (April); My original order was (polish, Dominik, Brahma, ameraucana/araucana, cuckoo Maran and Orpington). Well. They did not have what I order then they sent substitutes. I get 7 chicks (1 cuckoo Maran, 2 Red stars, 1 leghorn, 1 Orpington, 1 silver laced wyandotte and 1 ameraucana/araucana). I was very sad I did not get what I originally order but I understand sometimes the breeds do not hatch like expected. Because they were 1 month old birds they came from a farm in Texas. They are healthy and somewhat friendly almost all of them eat from my hand but I did noticed that the wyandotte is very aloof and skittish and small, they said because she was not the best they put and extra chick (the leghorn). I think she is cute ;) but, Like I said is my first time I don't know to much I going tu put some pics when they were little. :)

Just received my fourth order from MM. This order was mostly meat birds, but I couldn't resist a few extras

, a few BOrps and some barred rocks. We ordered 31 + the free one and received 33 total! Of the 33 all were healthy on arrival with one looking a bit weak, but all perked up after food and water. I have been 100% pleased with every order I have received from MM. Of 115 chicks ordered from MM in 2 years we have had one loss and this was due to a compacted crop when I was too green to know what to do. We will continue to order all of our meaties from MM for the foreseeable future!
