i have a broody muscovy at the moment but her eggs are all infertile (we have no male)..i was wondering would it be possible to slip some fertile chicken eggs under her to hatch out instead or are the eggs not strong enough? (id obviously take the chicks away before she led them to water i the idea worked) just wondered if anyone had tried it?

everywhere ive read it is very possible for the muscovy to hatch the chicken eggs. the one thing to keep an eye on afterwards when they hatch is that she does not take the chicks near a water source. she will go in the water and expect the chicks to swim in which they cant.
