I know it takes 35 days ... but I am wondering if that 35 days starts when the momma duck begins to sit on the eggs at night (when she is still coming off for a good portion of the day) or when she settles in to full-time setting?

its from when she starts sitting full time, although its not an exact science, you can be a day or two out with your guesses. in the winter mine take days longer, i had some hatch on day 43!

lol ... ok ... I have one that started staying on them at night some time around the end of November, so I was thinking early January. Maybe it will be mid-January ... Thank you for replying, Ian!
