Okay, so this was probably foolish, but I added chicken eggs to the scovies in our Lil Giant. I thought I'd be clever and time it so they'd arrive about the same time - all due around the 16th.

I hadn't considered that the two types of hatchlings may need different conditions with regard to humidity. (I frankly didn't think any of them would even make it since the only environment for our LG itself is fickle and it was remarkably challenging to regulate in the first place. Took about a week!...however, I'm the highly patient type who REALLY enjoys this sort of puzzle - and unbelievably, the eggs have been coming right along!

To complicate things (due to another story) I am execting that this will be a very staggard hatch, possibly over the course of a few days.

So....I don't have a hygrometer. When it comes to hatching day (if we get there) - is there a drastic difference in their needs such that I need to get creative? What measures would you suggest?

(10 scovies - 2 chickens as of last night. I have been hand turning every 12 hours and spritzing the duck eggs only).)

Tx in advance.
