Muscovy color?

That looks like a buff duck not a muscovy at all. The beak looks too big and flat. I am guessing it is also missing the talons on its feet too. Did it hatch in 28-30 days or 35-37 days? Muscovy take longer to hatch.

36 days. To my knowledge, the seller has muscovys and call ducks, but he may have others. I did consider that he could be a cross from a buff. I haven't studied the feet, but the claws have made me bleed.

I guess I just have to wait another month or so to see how he turns out. I wanted large black ducks to hopefully make the hawks think twice about coming around so I'll be trying again.
