I was told all 4 of these are drakes but for the last week they have been paired up. The same 2 stay together all the time. Do I have 2 males and 2 females maybe???

Here is the first pair

I don't know about ducks like that, but I know of a pair of male horses at a barn that I ride at and if you take one from the other they'll be calling and carrying on forever. lol. They're just besties though. Hate to be away from each other.

I am definitely not an expert on muscovies but I think the duck in the first picture, on the left, is a hen.. in the second picture it's hard to tell.. how old are they? I think the males hiss. Maybe close up pics would help determined.

Dont know anything about the breed muscovies but I do know that mallards will pair up drake to drake in the wild if there are not enough females to go around..I dont know if they still will do that as pets,,As I have lots of mallards and they have never paired up with anyone they all breed with everyone...LOL

They all have differnt personalities if that helps. The one in the first pic with its (mohawk) standing up acts like a leader or the lone duck of them all.

Can only males hiss? There is at least one that never hisses.

These are my first Scovies so I don't know allot aout them either but they are around 3.5 mo old.
