Muscovy duck and egg laying

We live in a community in Florida that has many muscovy ducks. One of the female ducks (we call her squeaky) laid last year and hatched 2 sets of ducklings. This year she laid 6 eggs (one every morning) and then the racoons can and ate one egg and since then she has not laid any more eggs.
Should I remove the 5 eggs left so she can start over again?

My opinion is that she’s getting ready to sit. How many days has it been?
Another reason would be that she’s just molting.

That is sad since the raccoon knows about that nest it will eventually return. And get the eggs mama or ducklings. I think I’d remove the eggs and destroy the nest to prevent her from nesting. Since she hasn’t been back sounds like she’s abandoned the nest anyway. ​
