Muscovy Duck Egg Pipped Thu Air pouch but not Egg

hey, my Muscovy duck egg pipped thu the air pouch but not the egg. its been 7 hours since the it piped for the first time. i helped one that was alive but later died. (it was in the egg for like 15 hours in the same position) i don't want the same thing to happen to this one like the other one so i don't want to help it out!!! how long does it take for a Muscovy duck to hatch out completely from the first pip thu the air pouch??? we are on day 33 of day 35.

It can take up to 36 hrs from internal pip to zip so try to be patient. Sorry you lost the one. and

It's very hard to know when to step in but it takes forever it seems for a duckling to hatch but all that work makes them very hardy. I'll give you some links to read that may help to alleviate any worries and prepare you if you have to intervene again.
