Muscovy Duck Eggs (Abandoned Nest)-Wellington, FL area

Hi there. New to BYC. I wanted to post this in hopes that somebody local to me, near Wellington, FL may be interested in adopting 2 Muscovy duck eggs before they hatch. Looking for someone that keeps them as pets, not for food. The duck mama abandoned them after predator got into her nest a few times.

I have them in an incubator, and have been turning them 3 times a day, I believe they will be hatching on or around 7/16-7/17. I have candled them and have definitely seen them moving around in there. I am prepared to take care of them if they hatch, but I believe it would be more fair to them if they were raised with a mama Duck. Anybody that's local, interested???

That may be my next step.
Just want to make sure the person is serious about hatching them and likes them for pets.

You can post on your state thread to see if anyone local wants them, and also post on the duck thread for advice etc. You can find either via the search box. Are there any wildlife rescues near you - they would probably take them in as well.
