They can also be really good at hiding eggs. I think my muscovy have taught my other ducks to hide their eggs as well. It does sound like she is broody. Mine huff at me when I come in to take eggs. I wait till they they leave before taking the muscovy eggs.

I've never heard a muscovy. That has to be the most adorable duck sound I've ever heard

My Muscovy eggs are very large and a dull white colour. Before they go broody, they are very good at hiding their eggs all over the coop. Once they get serious, my girls tend to share nests but there are usually several nests gong at a time. Cracks me up when I watch one duck trying to discreetly roll eggs from one nest to another. Loved that recording of the broody duck. I use my bedding fork to gently lift my ducks off the nest to check progress. Otherwise I am risking fingers.
