Muscovy duck eggs

Just bought 4 Muscovy ducks. I also have chickens and they are in the same coop. How will i tell the difference between duck and chicken eggs?

Size and surface. Muscovy are larger eggs and they have a smooth waxy surface. Most likely the will not lay eggs until spring.

Yep, your duck eggs will be larger then a jumbo size chicken egg. They don't feel like a chicken egg, they feel different. You will be able to tell the difference.
