Muscovy duck hatchlings

Two months ago we inherited three muscovies. Turns out two females and one male.

Within 30 days we had a nest of eggs and momma sitting.

She hatched 13. In the end one was abandoned that couldn't get out of the Shell. I helped it finally and momma wouldn't take it. So I brought it in under a lamp, after 5 days of therapy and working with her, I was able to reintroduce to get family yesterday.

My first experience with muscovies but I've learned to respect and love there bond with one another. What a great experience.

So sweet! Such tiny little miracles. I love our muscovy. They are quiet yet speak loudly with there tail wagging and personalities. I enjoy having a yard full with them flying all around and perching on the rooftops. They really give our place life and animation.
