Last year my Muscovy ducklings hatched all in the same day.(all 14 of them)
This year, they are hatching only 1 per day. I thought they were supposed to hatch together. Isn't that the reason that the hen stops laying when she goes broody?
I need to move them to a predator proof area. Can I move the 4 ducklings, unhatched eggs, mother, & nest today or must I wait until they have all hatched?
I'm tempted to try & take the ducklings & put them in a brooding area, but I'm afraid it will upset the mother too much.
