Muscovy Ducklings - questions

1. What kind of noises do the ducklings make?

2. When are you able to sex the ducklings?


I bought 2 at a swap today and was wondering. I will post pictures later as I have no clue on the colors, though I guess white and a black & white.

You have the ducklings and want to ask what kind of noise they make? Sort of a pretty general 'peep'

They hiss or make a doodle, doodle noise.

The sexes start at the same size and the boys start to outweigh the gals by size and male's feet are much bigger. Those are the best indicators, but it takes a few weeks to start to see differences.

Also, what do you feed them? What % protein? I just read to use meatbird food, or gamebird starter?

I use gamebird starter after a couple weeks. They are started on chick starter.
