Muscovy Ducks and setting

Does anyone here know if Muscovy ducks share duties with the setting of eggs? I have a pair of Muscovy ducks that are just under a year old. She has layed a nest of 15 eggs and now has started to set the. The drake though goes into the nest box every night and lays beside her. He is always out in the morning. Poops a lot in the nest box. Is this normal behavior? Is he going to wreck the eggs?
They have always been together and they almost seem like they really love each other. Do I put a fence to split them up so he cant go in there. Or do I just leave things be..

Let them be. Muscovy are usually great moms and I haven't had any drake ever show aggression toward the ducklings.
