The Sweeter heater looks like a sweet investment since you have power. I think it would take some experimenting to adjust its height to be beneficial. 100 watts could make a difference if not placed in a drafty location. I can envision 4 ducks shoving each other to get under an 11 x 30" heater@StinkyAcres how about a Sweeter heater they can be mounted to a wall.
I did look into those and I would LOVE to have one. But is it worth the price? I don't know! It only has a 3 year warranty...@StinkyAcres how about a Sweeter heater they can be mounted to a wall.
Would a smaller one (11x11 or 11x16) be big enough for 4 ducks or would I have to go larger (11x30)? Also, how long has yours lasted? The larger ones can be hung up so that way they would shove each other out from under it. Or maybe not.I have a small one in my Muscovy coop with 3 Muscovy mine can be hung or mounted I have it mounted. It's about 6-8" above the shavings.
Thanks, that's a good long time! I think you've convinced me! I realized it can be used for other animals too, not just the ducks. I think I'll get the 11x30 since there is a discount right now.I've had mine for probably 8 yrs still works. I have the smallest I would def go for the next size or even the next if you can.
