I got 3 female Muscovy ducks . I have two male ducks one is a runner who chases the chicken and try to mount them. I have seen one Muscovy as of late the other 2 have disappeared now the 3rd is gone to . It has been a long time since I have done this I think it takes 28 days for duck eggs to hatch . we live on 10 acres they have lots of room to run around on . I know there is a chance of a predator getting them also. I have never had Muscovy's before so just wondering where they like to nest . Some were laying eggs in the chicken coop! thought that was odd. I hope a predator did not get them.

Muscovies will make a nest anywhere they feel like they won't be disturbed or they feel safe. Your girls may be under a shed, in a hollow log, under a parts car, in the shrubbery beside the house--you name it. Someone on another site posted pics of a concrete culvert that her muskie chose to nest in--nesting was being discouraged at her house, so the duck found a place where no human hand could reach the eggs to remove them! Apparently 2 or more ducks were laying there, as later photos showed 22 ducklings following their mother around when she finally brought them out!

It's still possible that a predator got your girls...but don't be surprised to find that your flock has quadrupled rather than 2/5's its original size.

thanks all. I have not seen them today at all. I hope something did not get them . I did find a ton of eggs but picked them up . I did not want them to sit. I bet they have done it anyway. Don't they come down to the pond once or twice a day for food and swim. Kind of like the chickens to for 20 mins. or so.
