Naerys Targaryen is 12 weeks old now and Finlay is 8 weeks old! Naerys is fully feathered and has no red yet unlike Finlay who isn't fully feathered and has red spots. I don't know what gender they are or if they are even true muscovy ducks they were rescued when they were about a day or two old (I did not take them from the wild I got them from Bush wildlife sanctuary because they don't keep muscovy ducks)

Wow, those are Muscovy? The colors are beautiful! What is that colored called? I have gray with white and black with white and solid white. I didn't realize that they come in other colors with blue.

the smaller one is female. I am not sure about the other one most likey male you can tell if his feet are big or if he nibbles a lot more. There feathers are so awesome.

They're beautiful. Love the names. :love

Male muscovies will have bigger feet, their wings will grow in slower, and they'll develop a huff/hiss, if you didn't know to look for those. The female will keep a trill/honk noise, her wings will grow in faster, and she'll generally be smaller--smaller beak and feet. Their caruncles might take a while to come in. Hope I'm not repeating anything you know. ;)

I recently had a muscovy hen hatch out some babies, and from viewing-wise they look like yours and mine are in the same age range, between 8 and 12 weeks. (I haven't been paying attention lol) I can hear their voices now, can you hear yours?

They still peep no hissing yet. The little ones is getting the caruncles but the big one isn't. They both got their feathers fast and their feet look to be similar size. The big one nibbles but when she was little I only had her and I would hand feed her sometimes
