muscovy ducks

I've always wanted ones are they any good! I need more info about them before I start to hatch them :/

I don't own any muscovies, but I've done a lot of research on them, so I hope I can help.

Muscovies have their pros and cons:

Pros:
They are quieter then ducks
They are larger than ducks
They perch like a chicken (don't know if this is a pro or not, I guess it depends)
They are good foragers
They are tough little things and will intimidate a lot of predators
They are intelligent
They come in some cool colors

Cons:
They have nasty sharp claws
They can attack and kill small animals like rodents, baby chicks, ect as they are partially carnivorous
They can be messy, just like any duck
Drakes can be aggressive towards people and animals (https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/579642/aggressive-male-muscovy)

Hi this has helped I might get some now if the scare predators I will be getting them and do they lay good eggs to eat and will they attack my other ducks?

Muscovies can attack other ducks, but if you raise them from a young age around the others they hopefully will respect them as "older siblings".
