Anyone know a good place to get, or happen to breed Muscovy ducks? I am looking specifically for black and blue muscovies. Not pied. Very minimal white. Also I do not want heavy caruncle genetics. I want to get them this year with my chicks I plan to get sometime spring/summer.

Or if I could get juveniles and get one male and two to three females that would be awesome.

Located in DFW Texas area in case of no shipping :)

Muscovy ducklings aren't as good with shipping as Mallard breeds are, but can survive the shipping. I use express next day shipping. Normal Mallard breeds are shipped around 3 days in post office. I've shipped almost 35 orders of Muscovy ducklings and only had a couple bad shipments due to Post Office mix ups. I charge Straight Run: $4 each, Males: $6 each, Females: $8 each. But required at least 6 ducklings to be ordered and a deposit to hold orders place. Shipping box is $10 and shipping cost varies on zipcode. I can give you my cell number in a pm.

If you want do not want caruncles.... here's a picture of a 4 year old hen. One of my lilac strong white-heads. Void of any textures.... just plain flat. Lilac is Blue and Chocolate gene. Cross with black drake will give you blue and black ducklings. There's no pie, but all ducklings will develop a whitehead.

I'm culling a bunch of my flat caruncles this year. If you want them, the hens are available for sale local pickup or very expensive express mail shipping.

(We have the special USPS shipping boxes and we're NPIP certified so we can do interstate shipments.)

Where are you located? I would be interested if it is not too far to ship. I am in PA.
