Hi
Glad to be here from the UK.
We have some Muscovy ducks that we rescued plus 3 girls that flew in and stayed. We've tried to collect the eggs to eat to stop them breeding but one of the females has taken to sitting in the woods opposite. It took us ages to find where she was as it turns out she is nesting about 30 feet up a tree in a big crown. I read they nest and breed up there but was curious as to how the ducklings get down.
Also is she likely to bring the ducklings home? It is a bit tricky for her to get in as we have a mostly walled garden and the brook we have running through is secure at both ends to try to keep foxes out.
Thanks
Dave
