Oh my Goodness! Babies are 16 days old and Mama laid an egg this morning! What in the world is she thinking??

Have no idea.

I took dozens of pictures today but still can't post from my phone. As soon as I get them on my computer, look out I'm sure they're the most photogenic babies ever!

Thanks! I don't know what Mama is thinking laying again already, but I'm not up for round 3 yet. These eggs are going to the frig Now Mama Mallard, whose babies are only 15 days old, started laying again yesterday. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about her. The mallard experience was not nearly as traumatic as the muscovy ones, but I think 17 mallards may be about all I need

We haven't tried the duck eggs yet, but we plan to soon. I hear muscovy eggs are delicious.
