Muscovy hurt beak

I woke up trying to figure out if one could make a bandage with gauze and beeswax. But the wax would have to be way too hot. So then I thought, you could mix olive oil and beeswax in a double boiler, and let that cool, and it would be a salve, you could make it like a a little softer than a chapstick. So if you are into things like that or have a friend who can do that, I would consider making a salve (if you can find comfrey salve that might be just the thing), and dab it onto the wound three times a day immediately after cleaning it off. Just some brainstorming here.

Until it heals up some, I would add water and make the food like a slurry, like milkshake consistency to make it easy and less painful.

Please keep us posted.

Update: once again thank you everybody, I appreciate all of your help, a friend of mine knows a vet and she told me that maybe he could take a look at bingley for me, early today I took him in and the vet was amazed at how calm and sweet bingley was. A lot of the info you all provided me came in handy when I was explaining things to the vet.He cleaned his bill and repaired it as good as he could. There were a few moments when bingley would make a certain noise if something hurt him but overall he was a champ. He's home now and is getting extra TLC from everyone. The rest is now up to me, keeping up with making sure he doesn't get an infection, etc. thanks again everyone and I'll keep you posted on his recovery :)
