Muscovy incubation

Hi my muscovy hen had 6 eggs today is 25 day.this morning everything ok when I checked.but it's about 4 in the evening I saw one of the egg was broken in the middle coop.when I checked duckling was grown fully and have bit of yolk inside shell.i need to why duckling died and who broke the eggs.plz help me

Are your hen's toenails really long? She probably stepped on it or punctured it with a toenail. You should try to leave your hen alone these last few days or she may decide to abandon her nest.

I didn't disturb them in morning I change water and food there after I don't enter into the coop.i have two broody hens both are sitting in 6 12 eggs.i don't believe hen broke eggs.

She may have known it was already dead and kicked it out.
