Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Well they ate the chicken feed starting about 4 weeks old. I'm actually really worried and wouldn't advise. My drake is huge and I'm concerned he is to big. Worried about heart failure. I feel horrible. It was my first time. I'm still learning.

Nothing wrong with chicken feed, i use that here mine are all fine, Muscovy are big birds, the trick is not to grow them to quick so a good varied diet while young, i have BIG drakes here...

Okay don't feed them chicken feed they can't handle some steroids in it.

Feed them organic non medicated chick feed. The steroids in the feed is probably making them grow to fast. So till you get that feed feed them cracked corn and as always fresh clean water
what steroids? as for organic, dunno i am sure quality varies, that said i hear nothing but problems about using organic.. seems the bulk of the time they are inadequate diets, and often people have issues with their birds not just ducks but chickens and up comes the i feed organic, again NOT saying all are poor diets but it comes up A LOT on a board i am on for my own province.

They all get a whole grain diet now. No crap from the farm store. I buy grain and mix it myself. Plus they are free-range. Any advice on true known, used yourself supplements?

Whole grains are good but they cannot live on that alone, i use whole corn and can get an almost 11% scratch here BUT i also use a 16% grower to gain more vitamins and minerals, while they do free range, i do not live in a year round climate.

I do NOT mix my feeds, instead i opt for a buffet style feeding, grower.. corn, scratch, the birds choose and you'll see it vary based on temps.

What color is he classified? He has green, blue, black and pink
Black, now could be black n white pied too... i have or had many of them here.

one of my young drakes from this summer hatches.

My scovys always look so ragged by this time of year, once they get through molt feathers are once again gorgeous, until breeding season again when the drakes tear each other up.

Quackers is going through the "ugly duckling" stage right now lol.
