Are Muscovy's very good at hiding their eggs? I'm so anxious to collect my first ducks eggs but haven't seen any yet they free range all day. I have seen them mating and they are approximately 21weeks old. Is it still too early for them to be laying?

It depends on the duck on how old they will be to lay eggs, and yes I had one I my baby girls gone for a whole day without seeing her, and it turns out she flew down from a tree which she had a nest in. And I had to coop her up because I didn't want her to go back to them

Yes, especially if given access to acres to do so. I lost a duck this year because of it. I have had a few scovies come into lay at 4mths but most come in later, varies.
