actually she's blue fawn, she was chocolate when she was little then she started getting more blue and more blue, that picture was taken in september when she was turning more blue, since then she's been bluish with chocolate accents, but now she's turning chocolate again so her color and pattern change constantly. And thanks!, again i'll try to take pictures of all my ducks and post them soon.

I would I would love to but I really don't have the money to :(.... he seems healthy tho runs around like the others has full motion in his neck just holds it crooked... eats and drinks normal

I'm saying get him checked out because being crooked and crippled when they are a baby can be from a parasite that they can survive from but the parasite can still live inside of them, also the duck plague can make ducks crippled and at a young age babies have more of a survival rate because they can build up an immunity, but the virus can still live in them. What i would do is take him tot the department of wildlife and ask (very politely and kinda desperately ) if they could get him checked out, also most exotic vets check out ducks and other fowl as well so that could help. If he is going to go to a good home, i would want to make sure he wouldn't make the other birds get sick as well. I hope everything works out, y'all will be in my prayers.

Thank you for you concern ... I'll look into it and if it's not to expensive I'll get a check up for him I already have a place that sees birds so hopefully they'll be able to help :)

Depends on whether the drake or duck is blue. Chocolate drake x blue duck produces black, blues, chocolate females, blue fawn females. If the drake is blue and duck is chocolate then blacks and blues. If the blue drake is split chocolate then chocolates and blue fawns as well. Neither cross will produce lilacs as there isn't a blue gene to come from each parent.

Well she was being picked on too much, so we had to thin out my flocks last night. I'm very sad. Idk why she was still bleeding.

I have 3 more extra drakes. I really don't want to cull any more. But they do eat a lot and I need the space.

I am keeping the 3 I had mentioned. 2 of my black pied 4.5 month olds aren't very nice. But the one pied 7 month old is very nice and a good protector. Just Elvis is better at protecting everyone than the oldest pied.

So if Truffle and Elvis have ducklings and she looks dark chocolate and he's black, will I maybe get chocolate ducklings?

I have a blue fawn female, and she mated with a blue male, I have not had lilacs, nope , nada I've had blue but not lilacs, so I don't know if that's right, what I've heard is that a blue and chocolate can make a blue fawn and a lilac it just depends on the sequence of the code
