Dang it, possibly money down the drain again. I got some more Muscovy and goose eggs from the same BYC user which arrived a few days ago (detached air cells again!) and are now 3 days into incubation. Maybe the winter in Ohio is causing those drakes and ganders to shoot blanks. Hopefully it was a fluke and will have development this time.

JLam---my drakes do not seem to be mating my girls at all right now (I am in WI) Maybe the eggs really were infertile. Spring is a better time!

Yep my drakes have called a truce kinda of they can actually be in the same vicinity and no mating with any of the girls since early Oct. ahh nice time of year.

Now I have seen some silliness from the girls, chasing each other grabbing wings etc. always a circus around here.

Good idea because they love to fly and you never know where they might end up. just clip one wing on each duck that will keep them off balance.
