You must have the Nieman Marcus of Tractor Supply out by you or there has been a huge jump in the Vetricyn price, because I know I didn't pay that much for my big spray bottle of it!

I want to say it was around $18 - $20, and I bought it last fall.
Seeeeee! I swore thats what i paid this summer for a big bottle! but it was definitely $30 this time
 
Does anybody else put honey in their ducks water, i put 2 teaspoons to a gallon of hot water then mix it around to make sure its all dissolved he let it cool till its still really warm and give it to my ducks, i heard this gives them extra sugars and vitamins, is it true

Does anybody else put honey in their ducks water, i put 2 teaspoons to a gallon of hot water then mix it around to make sure its all dissolved he let it cool till its still really warm and give it to my ducks, i heard this gives them extra sugars and vitamins, is it true


Ehh...I wouldn't do it personally, for the same reasons you're not supposed to give honey to an infant. They could contract botulinum. And botulism is ESPECIALLY deadly in waterfowl! Pasteurization kills the organism and destroys the toxin, but not its spores. And many honey producers don't even heat it to proper sterilization temps, they only heat it enough to liquify it in order to fill the jars more easily.

Sorghum has a lot of minerals as well. Sorghum is also used in goats milk formula for babies. Apple cider vinegar is used as a supplement in water as well.

thanks :) i hope i didn't harm my ducks, I've been letting them have it for a while, and the water was super hot! so i hope it was okay, i'll use apple cider vinegar from now on :)
