Tanny, brooding in the corner with her *PRECIOUS* 5 eggs, lol. She built her nest under the chicken roost so I had to prop a board up over her.

I am constantly replacing their hay, they steal eachothers nesting material all the time and drop it all over the floor, silly girls.

Shakers, she WAS nesting with one of the Wyandotte hens but I guess they got sick of eachother and decided to split up & get seperate boxes!

I have one more girl on a nest, Jenga, but she wasn't out when I was taking pictures. I can't wait for them all to get done brooding, a few of them are starting to look a little raspy and pale in their feathers.

I only have ONE(laying age) hen that isn't brooding but she had around 9-10 eggs in her nest right now and is super fussy about having to lay in THAT nest, so I am sure it's not too far off!

Also, here's my new Blue boy. it was a long drive to get him but I think it was worth it, he's pretty sweet

That blue boy is very attractive, I love your colours! I've only got white at the moment, but hopefully going to get a pied, chocolate or blue hen to add

the only surviving duckling right now. it had a brother/sister and it drowned (yes a duck drowned) and there was another baby hatched out early from another nest, but it was dead the first time I saw it, I don't know what happened. We are still waiting on another hatch.
