are they with a Momma duck?I swear this happens every single year for my muscovy babies, why do they insist on tearing out each others new forming feathers, i know its a form of cannibalism but i mean, its so not okay, they get enough protein and everything justi want them to stop![]()
i already separated them btw
All our Muscovy ducklings that were raised without Momma did that. It drives me crazy! We had to separate for worst offenders to manage this. Not all the duckling do that, only a few, but they do not stop unless they are separated.

actually let me rephrase, i'm great, big, massive momma duck. Even if they're biological mom hatches them i take them up, and they imprint on me i dot his to relieve the mom of stress and since she was my baby she doesn't exactly know how to raise babies, as they get older and become un manageable so i find this the easiest way, but most babies i hatch
