This is Cupcake. Not sure if its a boy or a girl.

Ive noticed that Cupcake also stomps its foot alot? It stomps its foot and makes a weird wave of its head? Is this a normal thing for them to do? Ive been trying to research, and cant find anything about it.

So I was digging a little swimming pond for my ducks yesterday and found some worms. I brought them to my drake but he didn't want any thing to do with it so I brought it to my female and she jumped up and snatched it out of my hand

So I got a bucket and put more in with some dirt and I guess she saw me do it because I set it up high in the shed where I keep them at night and she was up there eating them out of the bucket

My 5 girls love to dig for worms and grubs with me. I buy mealworm treats for them too. They can't get enough of those. It's an easy way to get them into their pen at night. All they have to do is see or hear me shaking the canister I keep the mealworms in and they come running. I pour a little in my hand for each of them. I think I've spoiled them a bit though because they've begun opening and closing their mouths at me and pulling on my pants in demand of more.

How can I keep my Muscovy drake focused on my Muscovy duck instead of pulling all of my Swedish ducks feathers out? He snaps the metal bars on my fence to get to her and it's just making me so mad but he's my first duck I ever owned so I can't just get rid of him. Any and all advice that can help would be great. Thank you.

Hmm. Hard to say other than to try they some stronger fencing. Muscovy drakes can be great pets. The problem with them though is that at 5 to 6 months old they become very sexually aggressive with any breed of duck that's around. They may even try and mate with chickens if there are no ducks around. You also don't want to keep more than one male because they fight too much. The females fight too, but not like the males. Males will try and kill each other. That's really the best advise I can give you from my many years of raising muscovies as pets.

Thank you i took the fencing out of the coop area and put up a plywood half wall so they don't bother each other when they try to sleep.
