Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Can my blue boy turn brown? I swear he has brown feathers now. Or is it just fading?

This is from 3 months or so ago
Sun and just wear will turn feathers different colors during summer. At the fall molt they will get back nice new originally colored feathers again. If there is any actual color changes you will see it at the molt. Many with white heads will get more white for example.

So my culvert Muscovy mom and all of her babies has gone missing. No one has seen them since yesterday. I'm trying really hard not to cry.

And they are all wild type because of 4 spots on back correct? Well i think I have one self colored one maybe two if I count the other batch.

I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right picture, but I only see 5 wild type. They have the dots and the dark line that extends back from the corner of the eye.
The wild type will have white wingtips and shoulders. Those who lack the eye stripe and four spots are atipico.

Don't you have a body of water close by? Have you checked there? I hope you find them.

How long after Muscovy females hatched ducklings or have been taken from their eggs will they lay again?
I recently bought some females:
1 female hatched ducklings and ducklings were taken from her with in a couple days
1 female was sitting on eggs
2 females hatched ducklings and were separated from the ducklings.
And my 3 females I've had for almost a year now just hatched ducklings, but I took them from them because their nest just reeked and were 5 days past due. One of the 3 females eggs were just pipped. I still took her eggs and put them in the incubator. How long will it take for my girls to pick up laying again?

Okay update. We found them, or they found us. Only two babies are gone ):. I found some raccoon tracks in my yard. Shes the only one out at night but we are going to try and coral her in tonight.
