:woot

How about the drakes are they behaving when you let them all be together?

I did let them hang out together- supervised. The drakes are still biting at them
Hopefully they chill out a bit soon!
I try to give them supervised time daily so they can get used to each other but not actually get hurt.
Otherwise they are separated by a fence.

Your doing great it will happen we just have to be patient and your going about it in the right way. It's really good your ducks are the age they are it goes a lot better when hormones are raging.

I assumed these drakes already had raging hormones! Haha they're sweet and cute. But can be little buttheads. The one bit me earlier- it didn't hurt but still
And they don't run from the dogs anymore - they stand their ground and bite the dogs.
It's kind of funny. (It doesn't hurt the dogs they usually just get fur) three large dogs- two are golden retrievers and ones a mixed breed.

That can turn nasty fast. I would not let the drakes bite the dogs my gander would bite my med size dog on the butt when she would walk by him well one day Annie had enough and grabbed My gander by the neck thank goodness we never let them be alone because she may have killed him. I had to actually train the geese to leave the dogs alone. They still will try to bully them but I always put a stop to it.

Didn't you say your drakes were just 3 months old?

Just out of curiosity, how did you train the geese to leave the dogs alone? My 2 ganders don't like dogs either. I have to guard my 13 year old terrier when I take him out to pee and our bulldog mix has learned to just run past them quickly so they don't get her.
