Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Thank you. He seems okay with the cage for now. I'll probably keep him hi and dry for a bit. I have a shea butter, coconut oil, vitamin e, and beeswax concoction with a couple essential oils I melt down and brush on my large combed chickens to fight frostbite on their combs and wattles. Maybe I'll see if that helps the hard webbing. Should be able to apply it without pressure on the worst parts.
How’s he doing this AM? Curious about ur concoction....hopefully it helps.

Hes doing okay I guess. I made a different mix for him this morning. Shea butter, coconut oil for the antibacterial, jojoba oil for antinflamitory, a little sweet almond oil and a little beeswax. I'd normally add more beeswax but I want this mix to stay soft or liquid at room temp. Also vitamin e and tea tree/lavender essential oils for more bacteria fighting. I just melt it and can paint it carefully onto wherever I need. Its worked wonders on the chickens. Not sure if it'll help him at all but it shouldn't hurt him. Kinda worried about the range of movement in his other leg that had been swollen.

As long as the water is warm let him stay in moving his leg around in the water is good therapy. Just make sure he doesn't try to jump out and hurt his leg again.

I hope so too. Is his other leg still swollen? does his foot look infected? Hopefully soaking in warm water will help soften up the foot skin where the webbing is injured and soon he'll have just new skin.

Swelling is all gone and I dont think there's any infection. My concoction seemed to soften up the webbing a bit. I put it back on after the bath. I'm home all day tomorrow so I'll just keep doing it every day.
