Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I don't know. My Daisy wasn't that tiny when I got her but she was mostly yellow like that with the darker marks.
Aww how precious

I hope that's her happy sound. She does it a lot.

It's her backpack/carseat/carrier.

She is so funny on car rides. If I could record her & drive at the same time,I would. When we pull up to a stop the look on the driver's face in the next car is funny when she does that "Is that an airplane?" side-ball-tilty-head stare at them.

She is absolutely adorable, I bet you have alot of different reactions to her, it's not normal to see someone with a duck in their back pack a dog on a leash a cat in a carrier but not a duck in a back pack. Thats so cute. I took my duckling last year in a cat carrier to the nursing home for pet therapy he was a big hit.

Cute scovy! I sadly had to bring back my muscovy pair back to the original owners, the drake doesn't like geese apparently and he broke into the sebastopols pen and about killed one of the ganders! They were sooo happy to be back at their original home and I was happy to see them happy!

But one of my friends (Bless her heart!) is sending me some free Muscovy eggs because she heard about my ordeal and felt sorry and she said she was swimming in muscovy eggs and needed to get rid of a bunch so shes sending them to me! (And my incubators are empty! LOL) She has about 2 dozen so far and she said she'll probably have almost another dozen close to when she sends them out on Tuesday?

That should be fun! If the babies grow up with your Sebastopols they should be better behaved, you think?

They should be fine if growing up with them, My oldest drake and gander use to get into it years ago, but Ernie the drake conceded to Sammy the Gander and they stay clear of each other now.

Here are some new shots of our first hatch-ling.. It's 3wks old today..these are from yesterday, It's now free ranging with mum & the rest of the flock, so far all is good.

She's a very attentive mum and drakes seem uninterested in taking her on lol I am constantly trying to sort out the gender, i have had quite a few 'scovies now but it's hard to recall, plus since i have no others to compare to yet, it makes deciphering this even harder. It has an extremely pretty head though lol.
