Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Just sharing some pictures of my 3 Scovies :)

Yang and his 2 Ducks

One of my Ducks enjoying her 'pond'

Yang... my big ol' Drake (that is our Banty roo in the background)

Yang will be a year old next month. The Ducks are going to be 9 months next month. It's funny, the Ducks are still chirping and Yang likes to hiss and wag his tail. They are all living happily with my chickens.

I love all the info in this thread, and the pictures too! I'm planning to get my first two babies come Sunday, really hoping to get girls, but if the breeders can't tell ill just get the cutest ones!

Hi everyone!!

I have to find a new home for my pet muscovy drake McIntosh, so I worked really hard to make a fun video compilation of his life in order to improve his chances of finding a good home. Please check it out and share with anyone who might be interested! I hope you enjoy it!

Here's a link to the thread I made that has his adoption info:

And since this is a picture thread, I'll post some of those too :)

Thanks!
Julie

What a beautiful portrayal of your beautiful Mcintosh! You feel about him, the same way I feel about my Pancho! I certainly wish I could take him...I think your MacIntosh and my Pancho would make best buddies....but, Pancho right now is more interested in having more girlfriends! I need to find him some....anybody got some pretty Muscovy "señoritas" for my Pancho? Greetings from San Antonio!

well good news i think :) they are laying together and sitting on them off and on. i hope they hatch some. thank you all.
If they are sitting on them off and on then they are going into broody mode, shouldn't be long till they will be sitting for the long haul. 35-37 days start counting once they are sitting tight.

Good, good! trust me they are determined, i had an incident here yesterday, my one duck was trapped under a tarp that was covering some wood, come to find a secret nest!

she is fine but that was a rather panicked half an hour trying to locate her. The tarp will be gone today and the eggs taken...

To be rather truthful the broodyness of this breed is driving me bonkers!
