Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Hi all. It's been a tough winter, but we are still here, and I'm still not sure what duckie is. It's 9 months old and has been inside all winter since there's no other ducks to help make heat and it was just too cold this winter. I'll have to add pics later, but the voice is funny, still makes that peepy chirpy sound, kind of honks if I pick it up too fast or surprise it. So, boy or girl??

I'd say you have a little girl!
My girls all peep and honk
The boys make funny hissing noises all the time! Haha

I thought maybe girl, it's not that big. But 9 months and no egg yet, I was beginning to wonder. Building a duckie house tomorrow, and I'm looking for more muscovies to join us. I can't find any within a reasonable distance :/

The girls are pretty small, my heaviest girl is 3kgs and my drake is almost 5kgs!
My Muscovies didn't lay until just after 10 months, so I thinks she's fine =]
I had the same issues originally! I couldn't find any girls to keep my ducklings company,
I ended up adopting a point of lay from a rescue, I'd totally recommend you check out some in your area... My recuse bird is always the happiest to see me!
Good luck finding some friends for your her!
