Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Flappers, I am also in Oregon. My girl, Dinah, was hatched in October. Still no eggs from her, even though she lives in the house, where it's always room temp. So I have no thoughts on that. My older girls have already started laying for the season, though, as my first batch of ducklings arrived in mid-January. So the weather's not what's stopping her.

Hmmm maybe a few more weeks is all it will take. I will continue to check daily. One of these days I am hoping for a surprise!

Then it's just her growth rate

So when my ducklings are molting should I get them off of start n grow because of angel wings??

I think it's random because I've raised so many and only had about 6 with angel wing. It will show up and you just tape them up or put a sock over them with the wing in the corrected position. Fixes in about a week or so. I also think Flock Raiser is the recommended Purina food for the babies.

I am pretty bummed.. I think my chickens have somehow gotten MG.. All of my fowl lives together. So there is a good chance that my Scovies have it as well. And once they have it, they have it.. Even if they don't get sick from it, they carry it. So the only way to totally eradicate it is to cull every bird i have. I will be having them tested to know for sure. It took me an entire summer/fall to find all my Scovies. I am not sure i can cull them.. This sucks.....

Keep them, just close the flock no new birds in none out. Hope it isn't though.
