@Buck oaks,
How many generations did you inbreed, and was sibling inbreeding, parent to child, ect?
you keep breeding for better fliers. ill breed this one or two for better feet. we can get someone working on increasing tails. someone on crest size. someone on smooth black carruncling. maybe then work all to put together, and make bantams. the ultimate self sufficient quiet friendly pet ducks, kept in apts or let free fly and roam in country. or is this sounding mad science crazy?
no one care to start scovy out crossing program? giving just general areas as to were you so look who is relatively close and then trade eggs to get fresh blood. as all scovy assuming are inbred even if so much they can be bred out to other in flock again.

I could do one with out any tail feathers, since right now I have a drake that hasn't any they have been pulled out by my gander.If u want to read all the post then they start on page 728
Most likely this drake reminds me of a tug boat since he lost his tail feathers.His balance seems good but since he only has a cement tub with water in it I doubt he needs a rudder. He'll have to wait till molt in the fall to look normal again probably, I have to keep him and our gander in separate parts of the yard.Yeah im breeding for better wings is already have some muscovies with wings larger than the average muscovy and they fly beautifully
Wouldn't they need tail feathers since it helps balance them and it serveds as a rudder when they dive under water
