Excellent pictures thank you. Looks like some variation in expression but all beautiful coloured just the same. The front duck middle pic of oberhaslikid above was sort of what I was expecting I guess ie Silver or as also descibed, Pearl Grey

What about leg colour on your blue & whites? Are legs yellow, or are they still bi-coloured into adulthood, ie blue-grey & yellow?

Edited to add, Bleenie, your young duck front right bottom pic also, great pics thanks

do all of your guyses scovies live in a coop at night or do they free range because i let mine free range and they wouldnt come back to the coop at night.

Mine get locked up in a shed/coop every night though they free range during the day. Momma Scovies always do take their duckling back in every night when they have babies though & the rest of the Scovies have to be hearded in. I will be setting up a large pen with net fencing this spring which will keep them fm free ranging but still allow them to be outdoors. Free ranging will be during designated times when I have the time to watch them & keep them off the road which will, hopefully, be at least 3-4hr a day.

Anyone here in the US have Duclair Piebald Muscovy ? Would love to see some pics .

Question: My scovies are eating my chickens tail feathers, and at other times seem to mouth the soft downy feathers on their backs. Why? Is there a nutritional problem or normal behavior? These are my first ducks and want to make sure everything is okay.

Are they aggressively biting & pulling out your chickens tail feathers? Or are they eating feathers that are laying around on the ground?
Try uping their protien levels with some dry catfood or some meat snacks. Breeding season has begun and my Scovies are "demanding" more protien esp. since there are no bugs out yet that they can forage for. Also provide some oyster shell free choice to your hen Scovies or give them some peeled egg shells fm chook eggs. My Scovy girls prefer the egg shell to the oyster shell. I think they like the thin crunchy texture & sound it make

so when I hard boil a bunch of eggs up I just save the shells for the ducks.
